Our use cases

Proof before promise

Our use cases are not technology showcases; they are proofs of value, grounded in the real-world constraints of each industry. They demonstrate how a well-prioritized initial pilot, focused on a measurable challenge and supported by available data, can become the starting point for successful scaling. Exploring our use cases means gaining a practical perspective on what transformation can bring to your organization.

Securing logistics flows
Industry - Supply Chain

Securing logistics flows

A West African mining environment is characterized by demanding logistical, regulatory, and environmental constraints. The company needed to secure its sites and control the movement of personnel, contractors, and visitors, while ensuring reliable traceability of truck traffic from loading to the final destination. Beyond the risks of fraud (theft) and a diversion rate of 3% to 6% which could represent up to $40 million in annual losses for a typical operation employee safety was an equally critical issue: in the industry, approximately 65% of truck accidents are directly linked to driver fatigue, with severe human and financial consequences. The operator therefore needed to ensure business continuity while protecting its field teams not by increasing the number of service providers, but by relying on a single point of contact for design, deployment, and maintenance.

Deployment of QR codes on prepayment meters

Deployment of QR codes on prepayment meters

In Africa, STS prepaid meters (for electricity, and increasingly for water and gas) currently require users to manually enter a long recharge code often around 20 digits on the meter’s physical keypad. This step leads to frequent data entry errors, particularly for users who are not comfortable with this type of interface, resulting in invalid top-ups, calls to customer service, and frustration among households when trying to access an essential service. Furthermore, each type of meter (water, gas, electricity) follows a distinct top-up process, with no continuity of experience across utility types, which complicates matters for households that must manage multiple prepaid meters simultaneously. The service provider, for its part, lacks visibility into failed top-ups and the actual causes of service interruptions resulting from these errors.

Managing foot traffic flows in a shopping center

Managing foot traffic flows in a shopping center

The parking facility of a shopping center is being misused by motorists who are not customers of the center. Some use it as a shortcut to avoid nearby congested urban roads, while others park for extended periods without ever entering the shopping center. This dual misuse, involving both unauthorized passage and unauthorized parking, reduces parking availability for genuine customers, negatively impacts the shopping experience, and prevents the operator from gaining reliable visibility into the actual usage of the parking facility. The shopping center therefore needed a solution capable of distinguishing different usage patterns, limiting unwanted behaviors, and generating actionable data.
